 In this workshop, the students analyze a cantilever beam subjected to a vertical load on its free end. Some concepts covered are:
  • Meshing with different element types
  • Meshing with different mesh densities
  • Basic FEA rules of thumb
  • Important FEA concepts like constant strain triangles
