Ansys Discovery’s proprietary “live” solver revolutionizes design by combining real-time simulation with interactive modeling. This groundbreaking capability is powered by leveraging high-performance NVIDIA GPUs. Pascal series or newer cards are recommended to enable Discovery’s advanced real-time simulation interactivity. Discovery requires at least 4GB of dedicated video memory to run simulations, with 8GB or more recommended for larger assemblies. Higher video RAM allows Discovery to rapidly solve detailed models so engineers can evaluate changes instantly. Additionally, OpenGL 4.6 or above is to enable its cutting-edge graphics capabilities.
